Notes - MHR note: in letter from Ida Cronkhite dated 13 February 1951. William Ribelin Hedges brother, Jesse, married Lucy Ann Hawkins. I don't remember surely of all the children, but Albert, 20 I think, joined the "rebel" army and was killed at the battle of Shiloh. Later his brothers, Marcus and Thomas joined the Union Army.
