Shreveport, La - James W. Wise, Sr. was born on August 16, 1932 in Lexington, KY and died December 7, 2001 in Shreveport, LA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2001 at 3:30 p.m. at Rose Park Baptist Church, 5560 Buncombe Rd., Shreveport, LA, conducted by Pastor B.J. Maddox.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Wise; two daughters and son in-law, Tammy Wise Turner and carl Turner of Watson, AL, Tina Wilkins of Shreveport; two sons and daughter-in-law, James W. Wise, Jr. (Dub) and Melissa Wise of Baton Rouge and Mike Wilkins of Denham Springs, LA; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and J.C. Caine of Florida, Joanne Owens and Garnetta and Alvie Winters of Kentucky; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Wise retired from Teamsters Local 568 and donated his body to science.
