- Hedges, David Sharp, 24, 1830 McCullough Drive, died in St. Joseph Hospital 3:55 a.m. Tuesday following an auto accident late Monday night. He was a native of Lexington and a son of Mrs. Sarah Sharp Hedges Haynes and the late Stanley Hedges. He was a member of East Hickman Baptist Church. Besides his mother he is survived by three children, Dorothy Denise, Melvin David and Gregory Alan Hedges, all of Frankfort; brother, Stanley Hedges Jr., Lexington; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Steele, Lexington, Mrs. Walter S. Lamb, Radcliffe. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by Rev. Ross L. Range at the W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway. Burial in Lexington Cemetery. Friends may call 3-9 p.m. today.

- Fatal One-Car Wreck Is Third In Three Days.
David Hedges, 34, of 1830 McCullough Drive, died yesterday morning of head injuries suffered in an accident late Monday on Russell Cave Road near Radcliffe Road.
Police said Hedges apparently lost control of his car and hit a tree about 10:30 p.m. Monday. He was alone in the car.
His death was the third fatality in one-car accidents in three days. Jerry Wayne Gill, 32 died Sunday after his car hit a tree on Iron Works Pike. Ricky Barnett, 21, died of head injuries suffered Sunday when he was involved in a one-car accident on Armstrong Mill Road.
Hedges, a former construction worker, was a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church.
A native of Lexington, he was the son of Mrs. Sarah Sharp Hedges Haynes and the late Stanley Hedges.
Other survivors include three children, Dorothy Denise, Melvin David and Gregory Alan Hedges, all of Frankfort; one brother, Stanley Hedges Jr., Lexington, and two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Steele, Lexington, and Mrs. Walter S. Lamb, of Radcliffe.
Services will be conducted Thursday at the W.R. Milward Mortuary, Broadway with burial in Lexington Cemetery.
