Sept. 21, 1920 -- Jan. 25, 1999 Benjamin Jack Petero, 78, of Modesto died Monday at his home.
Mr. Petero was a native of Indianapolis. He lived in Modesto 15 years. He was an linoleum layer. He was a member of First General Baptist Church, Oakdale.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Petero of Modesto; children, Dale Petero and Jack Petero, both of Modesto, Wayne Petero of Montana, Ed Petero of Oakdale, Logan Petero of Salida and Darlene Weimer of Iowa; and 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Private services pending. No public visitation. The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs, Ceres, in charge of arrangements.
