    • Benjamin C. Cooper, 89, of Blue Creek, died Monday, February 2, at the Adams County Hospital. Mr. Cooper was born on September 6, 1914, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Thomas and Martha (Hamm) Cooper.

      He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Sheriff's Association of Florida.

      He is survived by two daughters, Freda A. Nelson of Otway and Glatis M. Myers of Bradenton, Florida; three sons, Benjamin H. Cooper of Blue Creek, Charles David Cooper of Bethel, Pa. and Normal Paul Cooper of Manchester; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held Saturday, February 7 at the Beam Funeral Home with Sharon McClanhan and Kelly McIntosh officiating. Burial followed in the West Union Village Cemetery.
