Notes - Grace O. Goins
Services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at the Rockwood Baptist Church, for Grace O. Goins, 91, Raymore, who died April 30, 1990, at Research Belton Hospital.
She was born in Trenton, Mo., and lied in Independence most of her life before moving to Raymore five months ago.
She was a shoe salesman for the Jones Store Co. in Independence and Kansas City for more than 10 years before she retired in 1961. She was a member of the Rockwood Baptist Church. Her husband, Douglas Goins, died in 1964.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Goins, Raymore; a daughter, Donna R. Evans, Independence; a brother, Roy Pierson, Chicago; three sisters, Bertha Kinard, Independence, Belle Trimble, Houston, and Ina Forizs, South Bend, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Green Lawn Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the church.
