Bucyrus – Ernest Bryant Hedges, 50, of Bucyrus, died Saturday in Bucyrus Community Hospital.
He was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Crawford County and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Hedges was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church and the United Commercial Travelers. He was an inspector at Timken Rollerbearing Co.
Surviving are his wife, Arleta Orewiler Hedges; a son, Daniel of Bucyrus; his mother, Edith Bryant Hedges of Lykens, and four brothers, Frank of Galion, William of Miami, Fla., and Homer and Donald, both of Tiffin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wise Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard E. Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Broken Sword Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
