    • WILLIS TURLEY was born about 1821 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. He married Sarah Ann Robinson about 1845. She was born about 1823 in Kentucky.507 Both were living in Montgomery County in 1880.

      In the 1850 and 1860 census for Montgomery County, Kentucky, Willis Turley's mother Mary (Polly) Turley was listed in his household. When his mother's estate was settled in 1869, Willis Turley purchased about one and three-fourths acres of land on Forge Road, twenty-five poles long, twelve poles wide, at $25.00 per acre. The land had been sold to Polly Turley by Samuel Shultz 12 August 1840.
