- Mrs. Mary A. Stringer Dead of Pneumonia
Mrs. Mary A. Stringer, 85 years old, died at 10 o'clock yesterday morning after a week's illness from pneumonia. She was the wife of William B. Stringer and lived at 1075 North Dunham street.
She was born in Montgomery county, Ky., in 1823 and was married in 1853 moving ten years later to Moweaqua where her husband engaged in business. They later moved to Blue Mound. In 1892 Mr. Stringer retired from business and they have lived in Decatur since that time. She joined the Christian church when she was 17 years old.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Rawlings, a granddaughter, Imogene of Chanute, Kas., three brothers, Martin L. Ribelin of Washington, Ind.; B.F. Ribelin, of Decatur and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Evans of Moweaqua. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary A. Stringer will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon from the residence, 1075 North Dunham
street. The body will be placed in the mausoleum at Greenwood.
