Notes - MARY E. TURLEY was born in 1827 in Montgomery County, Kentucky, and moved with her family to Napoleon, Gallatin County. Kentucky. She was still living at home with her mother in 1850. she was listed as one of the heirs from whom Joseph Turley bought the property inherited from their father in 1851.
On 24 October 1852 she was married in Gallatin County to David S. Hamilton of Lewis County, Missouri. His age was given as twenty four and he was born in Gallatin County.
D. S. Hamilton and John M. Turley purchased land in Lewis County, Missouri, from Laban Pruitt and wife. In 1853 John M. Turley sold his share to D. S. Hamilton. The deed was filed 22 February 1854.
Mary E. (Turley) Hamilton was not listed as a defendant in a suit in Gallatin County in 1866 when most of her brothers and sisters were, perhaps indicating her death prior to that date.
