In the 1900 census in Hillsboro, Fleming County, Kentucky, Anna, age 28, is listed as widow with children, John Jones, age 11; Inis Jones, age 8; Nora Jones, age 4, and Nannie Jones, age 3; with boarder Jane Sanders, age 39.
- CHATHAM, Oct. 28 - Mrs. Anna B. Reeves, 87, formerly of Sweetwater, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora Beard, in Chatham.
Mrs. Reeves was born Dec. 12, 1870 in Kentucky.
In 1902, she married Robert E. Reeves.
She was a member of Sweetwater Christian Church.
Surviving are one son, John Jones, of Petersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Inez Reeves, of Normal; Mrs. Nora Beard, of Chatham; and Mrs. Ella Schafer, of Normal; one stepson, William Reeves, of Indiana; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Effie Gray, of Kentucky; and Mrs. Mary Gray, of Creve Coeur; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Sweetwater Christian Church.
Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
