Susanna was the daughter of Phillip Anton DuTrieux and Susanna Du Chese. She was a member of the Dutch Reform church. She married Evert Wendall on July 31 1644 in New Amsterdam in New York. They had 11 children.

- Everr Jansen Wendell, 4. at Embden, East Friesland, 1615; d. at Albany, N. Y., 1709. He came to New Amsterdam in 1642. His family is believed to have been originally in Rynland, whence they fled to escape the persecution of the Duke of Alva. In 1651 he removed to Fort Orange (New Albany) where he was Ruling Elder in the Dutch Church in 1656; Orphan Master 1657, and Magistrate in 1660 and 1661; m. (firstly) 31st July, 1644, Susanna Du Trieux, d. 1660; sister of Philip Du Trieux, court messenger in New Amsterdam; m. (secondly) 1663 Maritje Abrahm De Vosburgh Mingael, widow of Thomas Mingael and dau. of Abraham Pieter Vossurch.
