Netherlands. He married (1) HESTOR ?.

      Notes for Abraham du Trieux:
Although these children are generally attributed to Abraham Du Trieux, there is almost no evidence to support their relationship. There is even a theory that Hestor, mentioned as a baptism witness,
was actually one of his sisters and not his wife.

Abraham du Trieux and Hestor ? had the following children:
      23. i. MARIA3 TRUAX was born in Albany, NY. She married (1) DANIEL DUPREE?.
      ii. JACOB? TRUAX.
iii. JOSEPH? TRUAX. He died before 1673.
      iv. PHILIP TRUAX.

    • Abraham De Trieux, probably born at New Amsterdam. On Feb. 22, 1855, he is sued with Jacob Teunissen by Borger Jorisen, who said "that defts. took his boat without his knowledge from 'the Wall' and carried it to their Yacht, and sailed from One Ship and Yacht to the other, and in the meanwhile the boat drifted away." The defendants asserted their innocence, and were not prosecuted. In 1656 Abraham was in Beverwyck, and was later said to have been the skipper of a sloop from Fort Orange.
