Notes - Bishop, Mrs. Rose, 90, wife of the late Grover C. Bishop, of 540 West Second Street, died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Fleming County, a daughter of the late James Lafayette and Almira L. Gilkerson Million. She was a member of the Bethel Nazarene Church. Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Schroeder, Silver Springs, Md., Mrs. Willa Mae Smethers, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Thelma Yates, Laurence, Ind., two sons, James M. Bishop, San Diego, Calif., Warren R. Bishop, Rock Island, Ill., eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2;30 p.m. Thursday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Hugh Clark officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
