    • Colleen Workman Dawson of Seattle, WA passed away March 26, 2012. Graveside services were held March 31, 2012, at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw, Washington. She was born October 5, 1929, in Scott County, AR. She graduated in 1948 from Waldron Sr. High School, held an AA degree in accounting from Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. Before retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Perfection Paint Company and Frostad's Drugstore in Auburn, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Dawson of Enumclaw and her parents, M.G. and Elba Workman of Waldron, Arkansas. She is survived by two sons: Michael Dawson (Jerry) of Natchitoches, LA; David Dawson (Joan) of Sammamish, WA; daughter, Karen Fortier (Andrew) of Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Dawson, Mark Dawson, Bryce Fortier, Katie Dawson, Daniel Dawson and Lauren Fortier; and 5 great-grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Morgan, Kamryn and Aubryn. She is survived by one sister, Kathleen Workman McGaugh of Waldron, AR, and one brother, James Morris Workman, of Boise, ID. During her eighty-two years, Colleen served in many roles: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was well read, a trivia enthusiast, and a life-long learner.
