Notes - Andrew Jackson Hunt
After many months of intense suffering, death came as a relief to Andrew Jackson Hunt at his home near Minford at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11th. He was born April 10, 1850, Greenup County, Ky., the son of Simpson and Mary A. Bradshaw Hunt. Seven sisters and three brothers have preceded him in death, he being the last of the family to pass away. He was married August 22, 1872, to Miss America Bradshaw. To this union were born four children, two of whom died in infancy. He leaves his faithful wife, one son, Vintson Hunt, at home, and daughter Mrs. R.M. Chapman, and two grand-children, Mrs. J.J. Schroeder and Karl Chapman, all of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery at Minford.
