Notes - Thelma Flowers
New Castle, Ind. - Thelma Flowers, 77, died Sunday in Holly Hill Nursing Home.
She was born in Salt Lick, Ky., and lived in New Castle many years.
Mrs. Flowers was a member of South Memorial Drive Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and William Lantz, Indianapolis, and Mary Oda and Gary Pierce, Anderson; two sons, Michel Flowers, Anderson, and Jerry Flowers, Bay City, Mich.; three sisters and two brothers, Betty and James Littrell, Nona Lester, and Rosemary and Floyd Poe, all of New Castle; a brother, Nelson T. Razor, New Castle; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her husband, Herschel Flowers, died in 1952. A sister, Beulah Voehl, is also deceased.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in South Memorial Drive Church of God. Burial will be in Mount Summit Cemetery.
Calling will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
