    • Mrs. Alice C. Clark Pneumonia Victim
      Delaware City, Jan. 18 - Mrs. Alice C. Clark, 78, widow of George A. Clark, died this morning at her home on Washington street, following a week's illness. Mrs. Clark contracted a cold about one week ago, which developed into pneumonia. Mrs. Clark was born in Virginia and came to Delaware City shorty after her marriage. For many years she had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.

      Mrs. Clark is survived by one son Harry C. Clark, head of the contracting firm of H.C. Clark and Son, and two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Robertson and Mrs. T. Bayard Helsel, and three grandchildren, George R. and Miss Margaret Clark, and Mrs. William Pennington, all of this town.

      The funeral will take place from her late residence with the Rev. Robert C. Pitzer, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be in St. Georges Cemetery.
