Notes - Mrs. Emma Kincaid Dies in Ronceverte

Ronceverte, W. Va., Aug. 24. – Mrs. Emma Kincaid passed away in the Greenbrier Valley Hospital in Ronceverte Thursday morning at 5 o’clock, of complications following an operation.
Mrs. Kincaid was born in Smoot, W.Va., March 26, 1906, her age being 28 years, 4 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Forest Kincaid, of Ronceverte May 18, 1927 and to this union three children were born.
Mrs. Kincaid was a devout member of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, where the funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with Rev. G.H. Fielding officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and three children: Patricia Lois, Joe and Ann, her mother, Mrs. Mattie Hedges of Ronceverte, two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Sherwood, and Mrs. Bessie Reed, of Rainelle.
