Notes - MHR note: Richard was a freight clerk for the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Rail. Richard and his son Charles were trainers of trotting horses in Kentucky and West Virginia.
[1] - Richard Hiatt, 77, died Thursday at his home, 20 Nelson pl. He leaves his widow, Jennie, three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Lawrence of Akron, Mrs. John Jill of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. John D. Brown of Ewing, Ky., and a son, William of Akron. His funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Adams funeral home and burial will be in Lockwood Corners.
