Last rites for Claude Henry Blaylock were held February 11 at 2 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home chapel, Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery, Oliver Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Blaylock, who was 83 years old, died February 10 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.
A resident of Kilmichael, he was a farmer and a World War II veteran. Mr. Blaylock was a native of this county and a member of the World Wide Church of Christ.
He is survived by four children, W. H. Blaylock and Mrs. Winfred Murray, Memphis; Mrs. Rachel Hoover, Greenville, and Mrs. Katharine Montague, Quincy, Florida; Also, a brother, Hardy B. Blaylock, Grenada; a sister, Miss Katie Blaylock, Kilmichael, and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Elbert Land, Billy Blaylock, Jerry Hoover, Loyd Hoover, Lambert Murray, Harvey Blaylock, and Ricky Burnett.
