MESA, Ariz. – Delbert Adams, 71, of Mesa, formerly of Fort Smith, Mont., passed away Monday, Feb. 14, in Tulsa, Okla. He was born in Riverton, Wyo., on Nov. 21, 1928. He was married to Bonnie Gidley on May 30, 1948, in Billings.
He retired from the Bureau of Reclamation after 42 years, which included four years of Navy service. After retirement, Delbert and Bonnie RV'd extensively throughout the United States before settling in Mesa. On their travels, they made many new friends and shared the pleasures of the road together.
He is survived by three sons. He is also survived by one brother, Charles (Yoshi) of Payson, Ariz., and family. Delbert is survived by four grandsons two great granddaughters.
Services will be held in Riverton on March 4 at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 2408 E. 81st St., suite 100, Tulsa, Okla., Attn: Susan Magill.

Charles Richard Adams
January 16, 1932 - January 27, 2014
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Charles Richard Adams, passed away Jan. 27, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born in Wyoming on Jan. 16, 1932, served proudly in the Navy for 20 years, married his soulmate, Yoshi, on Sept. 25, 1979, retired from American Airlines and found his way to Payson, Ariz. in 1987.
He was a friend to many and someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by daughter Sandra and is survived by wife, Yoshiko; children, Alina, Jamie, Dorothy, Rhonda, Donald, Kathy and Donna; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is and will always be missed.
Graveside services were Tuesday, Feb. 4 in Phoenix at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road.
