Mother of Leland Cassity Dies
Mrs. Fred Cassity of Purdin, mother of Leland Cassity of 1306 Burnam Road, died at the Kirksville hospital, where she had been a patient for the last week, Friday.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cassity is survived by her husband of the home and one son.

Funeral services for Leland E. Cassity were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the First Christian Church with the Rev. Walter L. Bingham officiating.
Interment was in the Purdin cemetery in Purdin, under direction of the Lindley Funeral Home.
Pall bearers were Vaughn Murray, Elwood Allnutt, Joe Crookshanks, Orlando Johnson, Ray McNally and Vincent Wolf.
Music was provided by Richard Kaufmann who sang “How Great Though Art,” accompanied by Mrs. John Cook, Jr., organist.
