    Mrs Mary Bray was born in Whitley Co., Ky, 11 Jul 1826 & departed this life 6 Sep 1900, at the ripe old age of over 73 years.
    Her maiden name was Mary Parton & she was married when quite young to the person whose name she bore until her death.
    For 18 years she has lived as a widow, keeping house for her son on the old home farm. Ten children were born to them, 7, of whom still surviving to mourn their sad loss and were present at the funeral, Sunday, 4 Sep, at 10:30 am, conducted by Rev. B.H. Wilson. A large concourse of people witnessed the interment at the Henry Cemetery [Regar, Mo]
