    Funeral services from Mrs. Janelley Abbay, who died Wednesday at her home, 577 Walnut Avenue, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the chapel of J.J. Mottell, Inc., with Rev. Frank Love officiating. The body will be taken to Mexico, Mo., for interment.
    She was born in Ralls County, Mo., and spent fifty years in Mexico, Mo., coming to Long Beach a year ago.
    She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary A. Adams, Long Beach, and four brothers, Robert Hopkins, Jefferson City, Mo.; A.M. Hopkins, H. Clay Hopkins and Richard Hopkins, all of Perry, Mo.

    Hannibal, Mo., Aug. 15. – Dr. Francis Clay Hopkins, 72, of 1601 Bird, died Saturday afternoon at 2:06 in Shill-Hildreth hospital in Macon.
    Dr. Hopkins had been an osteopath here for 50 years. He was a graduate of the Perry High school, attended Kirksville State Teachers college a year and graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery June 1, 1916, after which he came to Hannibal. Dr. Hopkins was born Oct. 10, 1892, in Perry, Mo., a son of A. Manifee and Annie Phillips Hopkins. He was married to Helen A. Stevens Sept. 16, 1916, in St. Louis.
    Dr. Hopkins was a member of Trinity Episcopal church, Knights Templar and Nemo lodge of A.F.&A.M. He was a member of the Missouri state board of osteopathic registration and examination for 29 years and was secretary-treasurer for 27 years.
    He was a past exalted ruler of Hannibal Elks lodge, an honorary charter member of the Lions club, and a past state president and state secretary-treasurer and district deputy of the Lions. He was also a member of the Mark Twain home board and a Republican county committeeman.
    Surviving are the widow and two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Burgtorf and Mrs. Lawrence Strode of Hannibal; a brother, Harry Hopkins of Perry, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Harry Hopkins Dies at 73.
    Perry – Harry E. Hopkins, 73, a retired Perry businessman, died at 9:50 p.m. yesterday at the Audrain Medical Center.
    Mr. Hopkins was born in Perry Aug. 19, 1897, a son of Menefee and Anna Phillips Hopkins. He was married to Lyda Berry, Oct. 21, 1934, who survived.
    Also surviving are two nieces, two great-nephews and one great-niece. Two sister and five brothers died earlier.
    Hr. Hopkins was a member of the Perry Masonic Lodge and past president of the Lick Creek Cemetery Association. He operated a garage and implement firm in Perry for many years until his retirement in 1966.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wilkey Funeral Home in Perry with the Rev. C.D. Howell, retired pastor of the Perry Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Woodrow Wilson, present church pastor.
    Burial will be in the Lick Creek Cemetery.
    A Masonic service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
