    Mrs. Minnie H. Cramer
    Mrs. Minnie Hedges Cramer, widow of David Cramer, and well-known resident of Walkersville, died on Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 o’clock at the Frederick City Hospital, aged 84 years, 5 months and 9 days. She had been ill for three weeks.
    The last of her immediate family, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Devilbiss Hedges. She was a member of the Glade Reformed church, Walkersville, and was active in church affairs. She was a member of the Board of Managers of the Frederick City Hospital for about 30 years.
    Surviving are two daughters and a son: Miss Nina C. Cramer and Silas H. Cramer, at home and Mrs. R. Ward Stauffer, Walkersville; and two grandchildren, John David and Nancy E. Stauffer, Walkersville.
    The body will be at the later residence after 7 o’clock this evening. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at the residence. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet cemetery, G.C. Barton, funeral director.

    Walkersville Man was Son of Late David Cramer.
    Ira David Cramer, of Walkersville, son of Mrs. Millie E. Hedges Cramer, and the late David Cramer, died this morning at 4:30 o’clock at the Frederick City Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past week suffering with pneumonia that followed a severe attack of asthma. He was aged 43 years.
    The deceased is survived by his mother, a sister, Miss Nina C. Cramer at home; a brother, Silas H. Cramer, also a sister, Mrs. R. Ward Stauffer, of Walkersville.
    The death is the second in the family in a little more than two months. Mr. Cramer’s father, David Cramer, having died on July 8.
    Mr. Cramer was a prominent stock dealer, having been associated for a number of years with his father prior to his death, and since has been conducting the business himself. He was a member of the Glade Reformed Church of Walkersville, and was popular among a host of friends.
    Funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 18, at 1:30 o’clock. Services will be held at the late home in Walkersville. Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Frederick D.E. Cline, funeral director.

She was born April 20, 1894 in Walkersville to the late David and Minnie Hedges Cramer. Mrs. Stauffer was the widow of Robert Ward Stauffer, who died April 13, 1975. Katharine's son, John David Stauffer, died July 10, 1996 and her daughter, Nancy Stauffer Anderson, died January 8, 2015. Her youngest grandson, Chris D. Stauffer died August 28, 2002. Katharine is survived by two grand-daughters, 1 grandson and several great-grandchildren. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland.
