    ZAHNEN
    Rosary services for Alpha Pearl Zahnen, 81, 502 S. Maple St., will be recited today at 8 p.m. in West Funeral Home chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Edwards Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven Bono officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

    A Carlsbad resident since 1942, she was employed as a nurse's aide for several years before moving to Woodward, Okla. for a short time and then returning here five years ago. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church.

    Survivors include a nephew, Z.F. Woodward, Liberty, Mo.

    Pallbearers will be Tony Rostro, John Watlavage, Ed Radovich, Vic O'Donnell, Hubert Forni and Manuel Cortez.
