SHERLOCK, Bellajo "Jodi" age 80 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 7:22 AM. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on September 14, 1929 the daughter of Amos Andy and Ruby Naomi (Frith) Hampton. Jodi was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. On October 25, 1947 in Hamilton she married Richard John Sherlock Jr., and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by six children, Rev. R. Marc Sherlock of Tipp City, Ohio, Daniel L. Sherlock of Deer Park, Ohio, Timothy J. (Maria) Sherlock, Thomas M. Sherlock, both of Hamilton, Rosemary (Josef) Ture of Fairfield, and Joseph E. (Tisha) Sherlock of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Andrea (Sergio) Mejia, Kent (Nicole) Sherlock, Marc Sherlock, Bethany Ture, Christine Ture, Annie Ture, Zachary Sherlock, Alexander Sherlock, and Lewis Mills; four great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Scarlett, Sahara, and Athena; a brother, Larry Hampton of Indiana; and a sister, Connie (Richard) Cunningham of Fairfield Township. She was preceded in death by her parents. Prayers will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home at 1350 Millville Avenue on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. www.browndawson.com

Daniel L. Sherlock, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away at Kettering Medical Center on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Dan was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 15, 1951 to Richard J. and Bellajo (nee Hampton) Sherlock. He was a life member of St. Peter In Chain’s Parish. Dan worked at Hamilton Fixture for many years. Dan loved horses and enjoyed going to races.
Dan is survived by his siblings, Fr. R. Marc Sherlock, Joseph (Tisha) Sherlock and Rosemary Ture; his sister-in-law, Maria Sherlock; his nieces and nephews, Andrea Meija, Kent Sherlock, Marc (Kelli) Sherlock, Bethany (Luke Sommer) Ture, Christine Ture, Annie (Will) Scott, Lewis (Lauren) Mills, Zachary Sherlock and Alex Sherlock; his great nieces and nephews, Jasmine, Scarlett, Sahara, Roberto, Aristeo, Tommy, Teagan and Althea; and other loving family members and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Thomas M. Sherlock and Timothy J. Sherlock; and his grandparents, Ruby and Amos Hampton.
Funeral service held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, with celebrant Fr. Marc Sherlock. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Timothy Joseph Sherlock

Timothy Joseph Sherlock, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, April 28, 2017. He was born in Hamilton on October 7, 1953 the son of Richard and Bella Jo (Hampton) Sherlock. Tim was employed as a machinist and steel operator for Southwestern Ohio Steel and Faxon Machining for a number of years. On December 17, 1971 in Newport, Kentucky he married Maria Trelles.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Sherlock of Hamilton; three children, Andrea (Roberto Chavez) Sherlock-Mejia of Hamilton, Kent Sherlock of Hamilton, and Marc (Kelly) Sherlock of Cincinnati; four siblings, Rev. Marc Sherlock, Daniel Sherlock, Rose Mary (Josef) Ture, and Joseph (Tisha) Sherlock; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Thomas Sherlock.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Tuesday May 9th at 10AM.
