    Carlisle, Ky., Dec. 11 (Special) – Mrs. Ida Bell Brown Davis, 61, wife of Frank Davis of the Cane Run road, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan hospital, Lexington, where she had been ill two weeks.
    In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. L.B. Stockdale, Fleming county, and Miss Elsie Brown, Nicholas county; a half brother, W.C. Hiatt, Weston, W.Va.; her step-mother, Mrs. R.T. Hiatt, Buchanan, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ewing Christian church and interment will follow in the Elizaville cemetery. The body is at the residence.

    Charles Hiatt of Orangeburg, age 27 years, died of tuberculosis at the home of his brother-in-law, John Hill, Orangeburg. Mr. Hiatt had been in the service of his country, having seen service on the Mexican border, but returned some time ago from ill health, thinking a rest would revive him.

    Surviving are a daughter, Janice Maynard of Lilburn; a sister, Elsie Hunt of Carlisle, Ky.; and a grandson.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lilburn Christian Church-Pansie L. Stockdale Memorial Fund.

She was born March 6, 1927, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Justice Carl and Hallie Brown Baker. She attended Paris High School and was a member of the Paris Church of Christ for over 45 years.

    In addition to her parents, Frances is survived by: a daughter, Judy Sprake (David) Beck, of Mercer County; a son, Chester "Woody" Garrison; four grandchildren, Lisa (James) Hahn, of Shelby County, Tracy Willoughby, of Bourbon County, Billy Ray (Chesley) Willoughby, of Carlisle, and Shawn Garrison, of Paris; two sisters, Freida Preston, of Lexington, and Ruby Gilbert "Gail" Hawkins, of Texas; a step-daughter; and a step-son. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sprake Willoughby.

    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, at the Paris Church of Christ by Pastors Curtis Graves and George Rogers. Casket bearers will be Robert Buckler, Anthony Dickson, James Hahn, David Beck, Sid Wells and Mike Gresham. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home and after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to: Paris Church of Christ; or Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 US Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
