Lucretia Benton Ross' parents were married 10 Feb 1834, Morgan Co, KY. Nancy Hunt Benson died before 1850, Bath Co.KY.
Lucretia had one full brother Nathan Benson. Nathan Benson, was born about 1840/1842, married Mary Jane Jackson. Nathan and his family lived in Harrison Co, also.
Married James Ross, June 1854, Bath Co, KY.
[3] - Ross - Mrs. Lucretia Ross, born Feb. 12th, 1838, was found dead in her bed at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Ross, near Oddville, yesterday morning. She had been in her usual health the night before. The surviving children are J.D., J.J. and W.F. Ross, and Mrs. E.C. Williams. Mrs. Lizzie Muntz is a surviving sister. The funeral will be held at the Republican Christian church tomorrow, Friday, morning at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Ross had been blind for forty years.
