Notes - Elbridge Atchison
Cambridge City – Elbridge Atchison, 63 years old, residing on Rural Route 1, Cambridge City, died Friday morning. He was a native of Kentucky.
He was a retired farmer and had farmed in Henry and Wayne counties. He had resided on a farm north of here for 24 years. He was affiliated with the Dublin Gospel Mission church at Dublin.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lella Atchison; three sons, Lloyd and Harold of newton, Kan., and Marvin E. of Hagerstown; one daughter, Mrs. John Seward, Rural Route 1, Cambridge City; three sisters, Mrs. Ona Reeves, Mt. Summit, Ind., Mrs. Anna David, Maysville, Ky., and Mrs. George Pierce, Cynthiana, Ky.; two brothers, Charles of Salt Lick, Ky., and Chester of Glenarm, Ill.; six grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Atchison will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Dublin Gospel Mission in charge of Rev. L.R. Rahrar and Rev. Harvey Fidler. Burial will be South Lawn cemetery, Dublin. Friends may call at the Doll funeral home in Dublin Saturday afternoon and evening and at the Atchison residence on the Dublin pike Sunday until 1 p.m.
