Notes - Kathryne Opal Holman, 84, of North Second Street in Nicholasville, died Tuesday, March 16.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1920, to the late Fred and Sarah Moody Corman Sr., and was the widow of Jesse Edward Holman, who died in 1976. She was a member of Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Holman is survived by her two children, William "Kerry" Holman, and his wife, Lucille, of London, and Sarah Stinnett, and husband, Thomas, of Nicholasville; two sisters, Mildred Hammond, and her husband, Marion, of Nicholasville, Betty English and her husband, Robby; five grandchildren, Arissa Holman, Jessica Holman, Dorian Stinnett and his wife, Shonna, Shelby Stinnett, Kelli White and her husband, Robby; two great-grandchildren, Bryce Stinnett and Alysha Stinnett.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Corman Jr., and Jerry Corman, and by a sister, Ruby Peel.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Mulcahy officiating. Burial followed at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Family members served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Holman, George Moody, Billy Moody, Marion Hammond and Bobby English.
