      Parents: Henry and Elizabeth Ziegler Allinger.
      Jacob came to the US when 19 years old. Landed at New York went to Bradford County, Pennsylvania for 3 months then went to Logan County, Illinois for 3 years and was employed as a farm hand. In 1871 came to Iroquois County, Illinois investing in 80 acres near Hoopeston in Vermilion County, farmed this for 12 years. Married Elizabeth Dinger Nov. 29, 1881 sold his property near Hoopston and came to Section 1 in Artesia Township, Iroquois County, Illinois.
