    • Virginia R. Harris, 55
      Daleville – Virginia R. Harris, 55, 7020 S. Ind. 67, died Thursday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, after a sudden illness.
      She was born in Pulaski County, Ky., and had worked for more than 20 years in food services at Ball State University, Muncie.
      She was a member of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and attended Southside Church of the Nazarene.
      Survivors include her husband, Glen; a daughter, Joyce Ann Bennett (husband: Scott), Muncie; her parents Sherman and Della Bates, Somerset, Ky.; two brothers, Sherman Bates, Bowling Green, Ky., and Douglas Bates, Science Hill, Ky.; two sisters, Lucy Mise and Carolyn Meese, both of Somerset, Ky.; two grandchildren, Brittany and Andy Bennett, and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
      Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
      Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
      The Star Press, Muncie, Indiana. Friday, 19 June 1992.
