Notes - Mrs. Ella Elston Pulliam
Ella Elston, the daughter of Judge William and Sarah Elston, was born in Linn county, Missouri, July 9, 1875 and departed this life April 5, 1932, age 58 years, 6 months and 26 days. Early in life she united with the Christian church under the pastorate of rev. Wallace to which faith she was ever true. She was united in marriage to William Pulliam, November 27, 1892. To this union three children were born: Lloyd A. of Watertown, S.D., Jesse O., of Linneus, and Mrs. Eva May Monroe of Purdin. She is survived by three grand children, June Arlene Pulliam, Dorris Nadine Pulliam and Norman Jean Monroe, an uncle, Isaac Elston of Woodward, Okla., a nephew, Claude Watson of St. Joseph and other relatives who mourn her passing. The deceased was a woman of high ideals and very devoted to family and home and was honored and loved by a large circle of friends where she has lived here entire life. Funeral services were conducted by Elder C.E. Potter, of Browning and burial was at the beautiful Purdin cemetery.
