Notes - Felt, Eugene Curry, born Aug. 9, 1901, died Oct 16, 1998 of natural causes at his home in St. Louis, MO. He is survived by his devoted wife Georgia (Cassity) Felt, dear son and daughter R. Douglas and Barbara Felt.
Gene Felt was raised in Franklin, PA, son of the late Dr. Constantine T. Felt and Daisy (Curry) Felt, brother of the late Howard E. Felt and the late Miriam (Felt) Acheson.
In 1924, Gene Felt graduated with a Business Degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He represented the petroleum industry in Tulsa, OK and Indianapolis, IN until he and his wife moved to Centralia, IL in 1938 to form Universal Butane Co. which supplied LP gas to oil fields and the domestic market. In 1953, he and his family moved to St. Louis, MO.
Gene Felt will be fondly remembered for his honesty, generosity, fairness and faithful practice to the Golden Rule. A private family service was held on Oct. 20, 1998. No memorials.
