Glen Elder – Charlotte Housh, 73, Glen Elder, died Friday, June 2, 1995, at her daughter’s home in Beloit.
Mrs. Housh was born Charlotte Glauser on Dec. 7, 1921, at Glen Elder and was a Glen Elder resident since 1969, moving from Houston. She was a horticulturist for Bock’s Garden Center, Cawker City. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Arts Club, both of Glen Elder; attended the First Baptist Church and American Baptist Women, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Investment Club, all of Beloit; and was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and past president of Home Demonstration Unit, both of Houston.
Her husband, Clark, died in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight and Dale, both of Glen Elder; two daughters, Nancy Herberholz of Beloit and Susan Bowles of Cawker City; and 10 grandchildren.
The services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Glenwood Cemetery, Glen Elder, the Rev. John Grummon officiating.
Memorials may be made to Glen Elder American Legion Auxiliary or Hospice of the Heartland.
Visitation will be at Harrison Funeral Home, 302 N. Hersey, Beloit 67420.
