Notes - Jesse C. Knouse 87, of 204 Turner St. died at Livingston Manor In Chillicothe, Mo. He was born November 19, 1888, the son of Samuel Knouse and Maude Summers Knouse. On March 16, 1910, he married in Chillicothe Emma Mae Cassity. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge No. 89, and 1.0.0.F. Lodge. Mr. Knouse was a life long resident of Chillicothe. He was employed as a blacksmith at the old Jenkins Hay Rake and Stacker Co. and for many year was involved in the Truck Transfer Business. He is survived by four Daughters, Margaret Barett San, Bruno, Calif. Ruby Sprague, Utica Mo. Beulah Cashatt and Rosie Emmons both of Chillicothe. Four sons, Rueben Knouse, stationed In the U.S. Navy, Jesse Knouse Placerville, Calif. Richard Knouse of Chillicothe and Herbert Knouse, Jacksonville, Florida. Two Sisters, Bessie Wilson, Chillicothe and Sarah Williams, Milan, Mo. He was preceded in death by his Wife,Parents, two sisters and three children. Funeral services was at the Norman Funeral Home In Chillicothe, Mo and burial was at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe, Mo.
