Notes - Universal Tool Founder Died Saturday at Age 60
The founder of the Universal Rotary Tool Corp at 1249 S. West Ave., Mervin C. Messer, died Saturday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Messer, 60, came to the city in 1947 and founded the firm in 1951.
The firm employs about 10 persons and makes cutting tools.
Surviving are wife, Gloria, daughters Mrs. David (Sally) Gallenbert and Mrs. Clarence (Patricia) Rates, Waukesha, son Dale, also of Waukesha, and parents Mr. and Mrs. Bige (Sally) Messer of Mukwonago.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
