    • Charles P. Rude
      Alamo – Charles P. Rude, 75, died Thursday night in the McAllen Municipal Hospital after an illness of several months. Mr. Rude came to Alamo from Topeka, Kans. 28 years ago. He was a member of the Alamo Community Church and the Topeka Masonic Lodge.
      Survivors include his wife, Ethel, two daughters, Mrs. Ellis Beavers, Pharr, Mrs. M.L. Reyna, Brownsville, one brother, Harold L., Portland, Ore., three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He had celebrated his fiftieth wedding anniversary last Thanksgiving.
      Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Alamo Community Church with the Rev. Richard Thompson, officiating. The Skinner Funeral Home of Pharr is in charge of arrangements.
