      Oct. 12, 1653; m. at New York, July 18, 1683, Elizabeth Van Imburgh, daughter of Dr. Gysbert Van Imbroech:and Rachel de La Montage. Elizabeth was born in 1659, and was captured by the Indians at Wiltwye with her mother, on June 7, 1663. They were soon released, but the mother died shortly after, on Oct. 4, 1664. Rachel de La Montagne was the daughter of Jean Mousaler da La Montagne and Rachsl de Forest. Rachel de Forest was a daughter of Jesse de Forest, and a sister of Isaac de Forest, who married Sara du Trieux (No.6 of this record) (H.S.F.R.)
