    Notes:

    Rose Marie McKeown, the daughter of David and Ethelyn (Russell) Demaray, was born on August 19, 1929 at her family home north east of Burr Oak, Kansas. She passed away on June 16, 2013 at Superior Good Samaritan Society at the age of 83 years, 9 months, 28 days.

    She attended country school near Burr Oak and graduated from Burr Oak High School. On February 15, 1950 she was united in marriage to T. Keith McKeown at their home three miles south of Superior in Jewell County Kansas. She lived in the Holmwood Township growing up and during her married life resided in the Valley View Community until moving from the family farm into Superior in 2008. She was a member of the Webber United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Valley View Club where she served both as president at one time and she was also a 4-H leader. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Connie Bauer.

    She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Keith of Superior, Nebraska, her children; Daniel and wife Virginia of Webber, Kansas, Dewayne of Wichita, Kansas, Lynette Bartley and husband Gail of Webber, Kansas and Susan Hoard and husband Kris of Concordia, Kansas. Two grandchildren, Emily Marie Hoard and Madeline Grace Hoard of Concordia, Kansas, brother-in-law Wade Bauer of Clay Center, Kansas along with a host of other relatives and friends.
