DIANA LIEBERMANN Diana Jane Liebermann, 87, of Henderson, passed away March 5, 2015, from natural causes. She is survived by her three children, David Stone, Carol Stone and Tina Wyckoff; stepson, James Mandoline; daughter-in-law, Rosalie Stone; two grandchildren, Jessica Edwards and Natalie Stone; and three great-grandchildren, Robbie Edwards, Katelyn Edwards and Annie Edwards. Diana was a gifted and prolific artist. She painted pictures, hooked rugs, created her own jewelry, crocheted amazing afghans, and was an accomplished seamstress. She had a lifelong passion for music, was an avid reader and a fantastic cook! At her request, she was cremated and her ashes will be buried alongside her loving husband, Robert Liebermann, in a private ceremony at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City.

Ellen Maxwell. A former Burlington resident, Ellen F. Maxwell, 86, of Glendale, Ariz., died Wednesday, March 29, 1995. Born in 1908 in Lake Forest, 111., she was the daughter of Roy B. and Anna Munson McKeown. She is survived by two daughters , Diana Liebermann of Henderson, Nev., and Janet C. Perkins of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Calvin Charles Maxwell of Santa Fe, N.M.; one brother, Amos McKeown of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. A memorial service was April 10 in Phoenix. She will be buried in August in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. Brown's Colonial Mortuary, Phoenix, is in charge of arrangements.

Morning Sun, la., Aug. 28.-James A. McKeown, aged 77 years, who passed away at his home one mile northwest of town Saturday afternoon, was the eldest :son of John Glasgow and Anna Parker McKeown and was born May 15, 1851, near Lynn Grove, Ia. He was married to Miss Eva L. Bandy in Mediapolis, la., December 14, 1880. To this union were born five children, who with the wife and mother mourn the passing of a kind and loving husband and father. He also leaves to mourn his loss six grandchildren, one great grandchild and three sisters, Miss Samantha McKeown, Miss Sarah McKeown and Mrs. Emma Brewster of Mediapolis and three brothers, M. P of Muscatine, Albert of St Joe, Mo., and John of Oklahoma. Private funeral services were held at the home on Monday and burial was in Kossuth cemetery. Those present from a distance for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. M. P. McKeown and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lord and granddaughter from Muscatine:; Mr. and Mrs. Albert McKeown and daughter of St. Joe, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. James Pritchard, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Watson from near Mt. LAST RITES FOR LOCAL RESIDENT. Burial of Mrs. Eva L. McKeown at Kossuth. The funeral services of Mrs. Eva L. McKeown, whose death occurred at Burlington hospital on Thursday, May 14th following a two-weeks illness were held from her late home northwest of Morning Sun on Saturday afternoon last at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W. J. Griffin of the Union church. The remains were then taken to Kossuth cemetery east of Mediapolis where they were laid to rest beside those of her husband. Piper, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mehaffy and Miss Samantha McKeown of Mediapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Roy McKeown and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Pritchard, Mrs. Scheagren and son, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Fladt, Mrs. Nettie Kaiser and Mrs. Martindale of Burlington; Frank Bandy of Washington; Claude and Ed Pierce of Winfield; Stanley McKeown of Wapello; Mr. and Mrs. M. P. McKeown, Miss Knarr and Mr. Knarr of Conesville. Eva L. Bandy was born at Red Wing, Minnesota, January 23, 1863. At the age of ten years she came with her parents to Kossuth, Iowa, where she spent the years of young womanhood. On December 14, 1880, she was united in marriage to James A. McKeown, who preceded her in death, passing away on August 25, 1928. More than 20 years of married life were spent in the vicinity of Morning Sun. Mrs. McKeown was a home maker and was devoted to her home and family. Early in life she united with the Methodist church. Upon coming to Morning Sun she transferred her membership to the local Presbyterian church, of which she remained a member until the time of her death. The following members of her family survive

Munson is somewhat deficient in his mind he appoints his son Charley A. Munson as trustee for Oscar.
