Notes - Kathryn V. Gustafson, 85, of Rock Island, her final day came during the eleventh hour, the tenth month, and ninth day of 2013. In September she embarked on a trip to the Northwood's of Minnesota with her sister Dorothy and niece Andrea. Shortly after arriving though, she needed emergency care and was transferred to Duluth. She fought complications, was there 24 days while recuperating, Sue and Bill, being at her side Wednesday morning.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Rock Island. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030
