Notes - Muscatine (IA) -- Services for Warren C. Durst, 81, of Muscatine, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (July 14, 1999) at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine. Military rites will be conducted by the combined squads of the American Legion and the VFW. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Durst died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Unity Hospital.
He worked at Grain Processing Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was born on February 8, 1918, in Muscatine. He married Eleanor Baird on January 1, 1942.
Memorials maybe made to the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, Muscatine; a son, Michael, Muscatine; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
