Notes - Marian Maxine Haney, 90, of Mediapolis, died at 5:15 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at her home.
Born November 25, 1924, in Morning Sun, she was the daughter of Oscar and Ola Harris Baird. On April 24, 1964, she married Garfield V. Haney in Oquawka, Illinois. He died July 27, 2000.
Marian worked for Sylvania in Burlington and was a commercial fisherman with her husband.
She graduated from Morning Sun High School.
She spent most of her life taking care of others. She cared for her mother, husband and sister before their passing. She enjoyed volunteering for The Salvation Army.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, LeOra Jackson and Evelyn Bohrfen.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garfield. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Thielen Crematory.
