Notes - Samuel J. Caskey
Samuel J. Caskey, 76, of 1127 East Market, died in a local hospital Friday afternoon, after an illness of several weeks.
Caskey had lived in Enid since 1920. He came here from Billings, which had been his home for 16 years after his coming to Oklahoma from Iowa.
He was a watchman at George E. Failing Supply company. He was a member of the Reform Presbyterian church.
Caskey’s survivors are three brothers, J.A. Caskey of Fairview, Albert Caskey of Edmond and Glenn Caskey of Artesia, N.M.; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Hensleigh of Fort Morgan, Colo., Mrs. Bell Terry of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Beth Zimmerman of Billings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Presbyterian church, with Rev. John Taves of North Enid in charge. Burial will be in the Billings cemetery.
The body is lying in state at Brown funeral home.
