      Jean Marie Bedford, 75, of Lodi, died Feb. 14 at her residence. She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Greeley, Colo.

      Mrs. Bedford graduated from Greeley High School and attended the University of Northern Colorado. She married Don Bedford in 1949 and moved to Lodi four years later. She worked for WR Laboratories, then co-founded the Duncan Press of Lodi with her husband.

      She was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, the Lodi Women's Club, the Republican Women and various bridge clubs. She was active with her children in Cub Scouts, baseball, swimming and other activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

      She is survived by her sons, Mike Bedford, Dave Bedford and Steve Bedford, all of Lodi; daughter, Margie Yacopetti, of Lodi; and nine grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Bedford in 1989.

      A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Episcopal Church of Lodi, 1055 S. Lower Sacramento Road. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. John's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
