He is survived by his wife, Sharon of 33 years; sons, Douglas Nelson of Fl, Pastor John (Lois) Nelson of Olathe, and Pastor Bill (Debbie) Nelson of Osawatomie, Kan.; daughters, Brenda Boyd of Overland Park, Kan., Becky (Carl) Woolsey-Rader of Overland Park, and Susie (Roy) McRae of Burns, Ore.; brothers, Kenneth (Annie) Nelson and Darrell (Shirley); sister, Arlowyn Cody; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
