- Dorothy A. Dugan died on November 7, 2011 in Gresham, Oregon at the age of 91.
Dorothy was born on May 7, 1920 in Carlton, Oregon to Lyman and Alma (Anderson) Bruns.
Dorothy married Donald Dugan on October 13, 1946 in Portland, Oregon. Donald died in 1964. Dorothy had lived in Portland and Johnson City, Oregon before moving to Gresham in 1986. Dorothy went to Wilshire United Methodist Church in Portland and later to Gresham United Methodist Church.
Dorothy was a member of Neighbors of Woodcraft organization, the Eagles, and the Omaha Woodman Fraternal Congress Organizations. Hobbies included sewing, camping, traveling, working puzzles, recently fishing for the first time at the age of 90, was an avid reader, baking and canning food, loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchild and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son James and his wife Lynette Dugan, of Portland, OR., grandson, Jason and his wife Vicki Dugan, three great-grandchildren, Erika, Hunter and Cole Dugan.
Graveside service will be on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
